Meditation:
- Begin by finding a comfortable seated position.
- Take a few deep breaths, allowing your body to relax and your mind to settle.
- Focus on your breath and become aware of the present moment.
- Bring your attention to your body and acknowledge its presence.
- Place your hands on your stomach and take a few deep breaths in and out.
- As you do this, repeat the affirmation in your mind, “I love and appreciate my body.”
- Notice the sensations in your body as you repeat the affirmation.
- Focus your attention on each part of your body, starting at your feet and moving up to your head.
- As you do this, repeat the affirmation and silently thank your body for all its hard work.
- Soften any areas of tension, if present, with each breath.
- Visualize your body as a source of strength and power.
- Imagine a golden light surrounding and protecting your body.
- Take a few moments to be grateful for all the amazing things your body has done for you.
- Spend a few moments visualizing your body as it is now and loving it unconditionally.
- When you are ready, open your eyes, take a few breaths, and return to the present moment.
